I belive birth should be a woman centered process that evolves in the context of informed consent and refusal. I believe that most women can birth easily and without routine intervention but I recognize the occasional necessity of medical intervention and am profoundly thankful that Middle Georgia it is here when needed. My personal birth philosophy is based on the 6 Lamaze Care Principles and The Rights of Childbearing Women as set forth by Childbirth Connection.
